Diplomasi, Perdagangan, dan Kolonialisme: Relasi Siam–Hindia Belanda dalam Perspektif Sejarah

Abstract
Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan bilateral yang bersejarah dan berkembang antara Siam, Thailand modern, dan Hindia Belanda, Indonesia modern, dari titik awal hubungan mereka hingga era pasca-revolusi nasional Indonesia. Diskusi ini mencakup sudut pandang diplomatik, ekonomi, dan budaya antara kedua negara, dengan fokus pada peristiwa-peristiwa bersejarah yang penting, kerja sama perdagangan, dan dampak kolonialisme. Dengan menggunakan metode sejarah, penelitian ini juga membahas bagaimana hubungan tersebut bertransformasi dan diperkuat setelah Hindia Belanda memperoleh kemerdekaan pada tahun 1949, menjadi Indonesia, setelah Konferensi Meja Bundar, dan bagaimana kedua negara menavigasi posisi dan peran mereka di Asia Tenggara. Penelitian ini menggunakan sumber-sumber primer dan sekunder, termasuk arsip, buku, artikel, dan karya ilmiah lainnya, untuk memberikan analisis yang komprehensif mengenai hubungan kedua negara.
