Abstract

Studi penelitian ini meneliti peran pembelajaran berbasis luar ruang dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di sekolah menengah atas di Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimental, dengan kelompok eksperimen yang terlibat dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di luar ruangan dan kelompok kontrol yang mengikuti pendekatan pembelajaran tradisional di dalam kelas. Para peserta termasuk siswa sekolah menengah atas dari sekolah-sekolah terpilih di Bandung. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes awal dan tes akhir serta penilaian keterampilan berpikir kritis. Analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial dilakukan untuk menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan berpikir kritis di antara kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Data kualitatif juga menunjukkan persepsi dan pengalaman positif dari siswa mengenai pembelajaran berbasis outdoor. Temuan ini mendukung gagasan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis luar ruangan dapat secara efektif meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini terhadap praktik dan kebijakan pendidikan juga dibahas, bersama dengan rekomendasi untuk penelitian lebih lanjut.
