Tren Penelitian Mobile-Assisted Language Learning (MALL) di Era Digital

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tren dan pola perkembangan studi terkait Mobile-Assisted Language Learning (MALL) selama dekade terakhir dalam konteks era digital. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan bibliometrik dan analisis isi tematik, data diambil dari basis data Scopus untuk mengevaluasi tren publikasi, penulis dan institusi paling produktif, jurnal inti, serta peta kolaborasi dan topik dominan dalam literatur MALL. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan jumlah publikasi sejak tahun 2019, dengan puncak pada 2023. Jurnal Computer Assisted Language Learning menjadi saluran utama, sementara The Education University of Hong Kong dan National Taiwan Normal University merupakan institusi paling produktif. Tema utama penelitian mencakup mobile learning, e-learning, gamification, dan self-directed learning, dengan pergeseran fokus dari kajian teknologi ke pendekatan pembelajaran yang berbasis pengalaman pengguna. Selain itu, kolaborasi riset menunjukkan dominasi kawasan Asia dan Amerika Utara, meskipun keterlibatan negara berkembang mulai meningkat. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memetakan arah riset MALL dan merekomendasikan pengembangan lebih lanjut pada area-area inovatif seperti AI, pembelajaran informal, serta inklusi digital dalam konteks pendidikan bahasa global.
